"Gooderized" clubs notch a victory on a Professional Tour!
September/2020 was a momentus month for Gooder Golf and one of our "Gooder-ites" (customers). A set of our irons were used to notch a victory on the COVID shortened 2020 Mackenzie Tour (Canadian Tour). It was the first professional win carded for our professional Gooder-ite, and also the first professional win notched for Gooder Custom Golf Clubs. We are thrilled to be able to have helped multiple local golfers win their local club championships, and we have plenty of activity in local amatuer tournaments, but it is especially gratifying to know that our clubs can not only make the cut, but win on a professional tour!
AGCP announces LEVEL 10 certification for Bert Reich
The Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals recently issued a press release to announce that Bert Reich (Gooder Golf) attained LEVEL 10 status in the field of golf clubfitting and clubmaking. Bert was the second AGCP member in Canada to reach this level.

Mizuno - a long history of quality
We are pleased to have recently formed a partnersip with Mizuno Golf. The addition of Mizuno enables us to expand our fitting options available to golfers even more. The additon of Mizuno brings to us the Mizuno iron fitting cart and a new twist to fitting strategy for Mizuno clubs - the SHAFT OPTIMIZER 3D. The 3D Optimizer is a tool which the golfer makes 3 swings with. The tool gathers some data points about your swing and makes a few shaft recommendations (of shafts that are included in the Mizuno fitting cart) and some club spec recommendations based on these 3 test swings. We then would test the recommended Mizuno fitting cart shafts on various Mizuno heads. This is not the same as a typical full blown in-depth Gooder Golf fitting, but is a solid platform to start a fitting with, and is leaps & bounds better than than grabbing a set of clubs off the shelf at the retail store and flying blindly with no attempt at a fitting at all.
We will be offering Mizuno product in three configurations; GOOD, BETTER, and BEST. We can discuss the details of each configuration either via telephone, or when you are here for your fitting. I will not sell Mizuno products without putting you through the paces with the Mizuno 3D Optimizer at the very minimum. Of course, the FlightScope launch monitor would be used to measure the swing path and ball data so we have a complete picture of what is happening. These fittings are performed by appointment only.
Highlights of the MIZUNO line-up include:
Pro Series: a series of clubs that are designed and geared more for the "players" - low handicap to professional golfers. These are all grain-flow forged designs, and all the specifications are designed for the better more skilled golfers.
JPX Series: a series of clubs that are designed for golfers of all skill levels from high handicap to very low handicap. Numerous options and specifications to accommodate all golfers.
